Dale Ward
Dale Ward has been and is a businessman, counselor, minister and evangelist. In late 2009 he had a severe stroke and his doctors said he would have very limited abilities. They were wrong.
He is active in the management and serves on the board of Freedom Industries; a company that he founded along with his wife Barbara and their children Scott and Jennifer. Dale and Barbara lead a small group in their church and are active as counselors. The stroke, for sure, presented many challenges to the family, but also inspiration.
James 1:2-4 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking in anything.” Dale and Barbara are living examples to this truth.
Dale uses a walker to get around (something his doctors thought he would never be able to do) and recently in rehab has walked on his own. He has been through all kinds of therapy sessions with Barbara at his side. They went through very difficult and frustrating times. But they have persevered. Barbara and Dale are an inspiration to all who know them.
Dale will tell you that he was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write this book. Traveling to preach as an evangelist was not yet to be, but the Holy Spirit showed him that he could write and in that way continue to evangelize. He has typed the manuscript of this book with his own hands and has arranged artwork in each chapter so that the reader can visualize what he teaches. God continues to work through Dale.
