"And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."  Matthew 16:18-19

Jesus declared it is His responsibility to grow His Church, and it is the church leadership's responsibility to exercise its authority to bind and loose.

Paul had the church exercise this authority in I Corinthians 5:1-5 to deal with sin within the church body.

And in II Corinthians 2:5-11 he exhorts the church body to use this principle through forgiveness, "in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes."

If the local church does not properly exercise the power and authority commanded by Jesus, clearly Satan will take advantage and hinder the church's ability to be effective.

How do you know if your church
is being effective?

In the seven letters to the churches of Revelation, Jesus said, I know...

...your strengths, gifts, weaknesses, memories, sins, and spiritual attacks. Evangelist Dale Ward facilitates sessions with your church board to seek what Jesus identifies as the issues that hinder the church from being fully effective.

The church board will discover what Jesus might write to them in a personal letter to exhort them and give them the direction He desires.

By the end of the Church Leadership Renewal session, Jesus will release the church body from any hold that Satan might exert and will give it a newly found effectiveness.

When church boards understand and properly execute their role under the authority of Jesus, the church begins to function correctly. It is set free from the hindrances of the enemy and from doing ministry man's way. Dramatic changes start occurring as churches are liberated. Churches witness the Lord's hand at work softening hearts and drawing people to Him resulting in church growth.
